LiftTracker integrates with Apple Health to sync workout and health data:
What Data is Shared
From LiftTracker → Apple Health:
- ✅ Workout sessions (with duration and type)
- ✅ Calories burned (active + total)
- ✅ Exercise time
- ✅ Heart rate data (if tracked via Apple Watch)
From Apple Health → LiftTracker:
- ✅ Heart rate during workouts (Apple Watch)
- ✅ Calories burned (if not manually entered)
Granting Permissions
On First Launch:
- LiftTracker requests Health access
- Review permissions
- Toggle which data to share
- Tap "Allow" to confirm
Changing Permissions Later:
- Open Health app on iPhone
- Tap profile picture → Apps
- Select "LiftTracker"
- Toggle permissions on/off
- Choose what data to share
Recommended Permissions
For best experience, allow:
- ✅ Workouts (read & write)
- ✅ Active Energy (read & write)
- ✅ Heart Rate (read)
- ✅ Exercise Minutes (write)
