How do I cancel my subscription?

Instructions for canceling your LiftTracker Premium subscription on Apple devices.

You can cancel your LiftTracker subscription at any time through your Apple ID:

Canceling on iPhone/iPad

Method 1: Through Settings App

  1. Open Settings app on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name at the top (Apple ID)
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Find and tap "LiftTracker Premium"
  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"
  6. Confirm "Cancel Subscription"

Method 2: Through App Store

  1. Open App Store app
  2. Tap your profile picture (top right)
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Find and tap "LiftTracker Premium"
  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"
  6. Confirm cancellation

What Happens After Canceling

  • Immediate effect: Cancellation confirmed, no future charges
  • Access remains: Premium features available until end of current period
  • Billing cycle: If you paid for the month, you keep access until it expires
  • No refunds: Partial month/week is not refunded (standard Apple policy)
  • Free tier: App reverts to free features after period ends
  • Data preserved: All your workouts and data remain intact

Example Timeline

If you cancel on January 15th with a subscription ending January 31st:

  • ✅ Cancel confirmed immediately
  • ✅ Premium access until January 31st
  • ✅ No charge on February 1st
  • ❌ Premium features lock on February 1st
  • ✅ Your data and free features still work

Resubscribing

If you change your mind:

  1. Go to Settings → Subscriptions → LiftTracker
  2. Tap your previous subscription tier
  3. Tap "Resubscribe"
  4. Premium features reactivate immediately

Subscription Questions

Q: Will I lose my data?
A: No, all workouts, templates, and progress remain.

Q: Can I get a refund?
A: Refunds are handled by Apple. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.

Q: Can I change my plan?
A: Yes! You can upgrade/downgrade between weekly/monthly/yearly at any time.

Q: What about family sharing?
A: Currently subscriptions are individual (family sharing not yet supported).
